Quiet Reflection Sunday
And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast
Rose from the dreams of it's wintry rest.
Percy Bysshe Shelley
Ah Spring and poetry go together. I can hardly wait
for the leaves to turn. Saw a robin the other day!
This photo was taken at a park not far from my home.
It is my favorite spot. Hope you have a wonderful
Sunday. I will be busy painting with my grandson.

Quiet Reflection Sunday
Happy Mothers Day!
As we express our gratitude. we must never forget
that the highest appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by them.
John F Kennedy
Good morning and happy Sunday everyone. I went out early this
morning, when the sun was rising to take pictures and enjoy
the sights, sounds and smells of nature. Quite a gift this Mothers
Day. Kennedy's quote was not written in reference to Mothers Day, but how appropriate for the today. I miss my mother so much and would give anything to be able to give her a hug this morning.
I did not always agree with my mother, but she was human after all. Sometimes it's best to just remember the good. She did the best she could and as a mother myself I can appreciate how difficult it is to be a parent. So for today I choose to remember her smiles, her hugs
and the best memories. Love you Mom!!
Do you have a favorite memory of your mother?

Quiet Reflection Sunday-Christmas
...Christmas means a spirit of love, a time when the love
of God and love of our fellow man should prevail...
a time when our thoughts and deeds and the spirit of
our lives manifests the presence of God.
George F. McDougall
My grandson added his friends. They are waiting for the baby Jesus.

Quiet Reflection Sunday
Every time you smile at someone,
it is an action of love,
a gift to that person,
a beautiful thing.

Quiet Reflection Sunday-Mothers Day
Mama was the greatest teacher,
a teacher of compassion,
love and fearlessness.
If love is sweet as a flower,
than my mother is that
sweet flower of love.
Stevie Wonder
There are all kinds of Mothers in this world. May you all be blessed.

Quiet Reflection Sunday
I arise today
Blessed by all things,
Wings of breath,
Delight of eyes,
Wonder of whisper,
Intimacy of touch,
Eternity of soul,
Urgency of thought,
Miracle of health,
Embrace of God.
May I live this day
Compassionate of heart,
Clear in word,
Gracious in awareness,
Courageous in thought,
Generous in love.
John O'Donohue
