Quiet Reflection Sunday- Listen

Put your ear down close to your soul and listen hard.

Anne Sexton

Hope you all have enjoyed the holidays.
I spend the time between Christmas and New
Year in reflection. I briefly look back and then move on to the coming year.

This year my focus is on joy. What brings joy
to my life and how can I, in my own small way,
share that joy.

I thought it would be fun to hear from you about
joy. What brings joy to your life?

Have a wonderful, safe New Year.

Susan Hemann

  2. Usually the smallest moment brings me joy...the unexpected. Not sure if its gratitude or joy but the feeling wells up inside and either a smile or tears result. Happy New Year.

  7. I too love the time of reflection, and hope, in the week between Christmas and Ne Years. I also use it to 'get my nest in shape'.

  8. Hello dear Susan, thank you for sharing this tranquil beauty with us, the peace and quiet of a beautiful winter day. Joy is a wonderful word to have for your year. There are so many things that bring me joy. It's the precious moments spent with family and friends, the smile of a passer by, the sun glittering on a peaceful lake, gathering chirping birds high up in the trees surrounding our house. I think it's the happy little moments in a day that bring me the greatest joy. Wishing you a joyful and love filled year! Big hugs xx
