bed. A circular stairway led to the upper floor, where the beds were lined up in rows. The windows opened out, so I could hear the waves splash on the sand. Every night the sound would put me
to sleep. Now when I go to the beach the sound takes me back.

Do you have wonderful memories of the sea, the ocean or the
lake? I would love to hear your stories.

  1. I love the sound of the water too! :-] I have memories of going fishing on the lake in Georgia...bass fishing! The rippling of the water as it rocked the boat while we were waiting for a fish to take the bait....priceless! :-]

  2. i grew up in the city so have never been around water much. we did visit the ocean during the summer...Rockaway Beach in NY...but it was never one of my favorite places. i much prefer being on solid ground. i do love the clouds.
