6 med size potatoes, peeled and cut up
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 head of cabbage cut into sml pieces
salt and pepper

Boil potatoes until soft. Drain potatoes. Mash and add butter and salt/pepper. You may need to add some milk.
Boil cabbage until tender, not mushy. Strain.
Add to mashed potatoes.

That's it! 

My cabbage had a slight crunch to it, I like it better that way. If you prefer to cook it more, please do.
