Colcannon

Colcannon

6 med size potatoes, peeled and cut up
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 head of cabbage cut into sml pieces
salt and pepper

Boil potatoes until soft. Drain potatoes. Mash and add butter and salt/pepper. You may need to add some milk.
Boil cabbage until tender, not mushy. Strain.
Add to mashed potatoes.

That's it!

My cabbage had a slight crunch to it, I like it better that way. If you prefer to cook it more, please do.

Quiet Reflection Sunday

Lord,

I can't say it in words.
Can you please just
listen through my heart.

This has been powerful for me this week, so I thought I would share it.

Quiet Reflection Sunday

Sunsets and rainbows, green forest and restive blue seas,
all naturally colored things are my siblings.
We have played together on the floor of the world
since the first stone looked up at the stars.

An artist's studio

Some time ago I wrote a post about the disaster that was my studio. To some of you, it may still seem like a disaster. Well this is the best that it gets. So i thought I would show some pictures of where I create.

I have left off my computer desk, nothing to see there, plus it's a mess of paperwork.

I love to read blogs and have seen some really wonderful photos of studios. My guess, I'm not going to win any awards for the most elegant studios.

How many of you really have totally picked up studios?
